If a customer requests we compare Sonlight to another product: We are experts in our product, Sonlight, not in the other product, so we cannot compare them. Do not EVER make derogatory comments about another product. You can, however, explain Sonlight. If a customer is asking for a comparison to A Beka or Bob Jones, you know those are more typical textbook publishers. You can describe the literature approach and how that compares to a traditional textbook method, for example.

In the past when a group (missionary group, homeschool group, etc.) requested a sample kit to keep in their library, Sonlight would send a sample packet. Now that current samples are available online, this service is no longer provided.

Graded CoreUltra & CorePlus packages explained: Example: how does CoreUltra3 become a true Grade 5 package?

CoreUltra3 w/5 includes H5M (5th grade math), 5L172 (5th grade handwriting) and 5E (grade 5 Electives). The reasoning behind this? Look at the grade recommendation for Core 3 at the top of page 61. Grades 3-6. In order to truly create an appropriate package for a 5th grader, for example, these items were added. This is true for most levels K-4.
