2007 Research Paper Packet
The Research Paper packet has been updated to reflect MLA standards.
Strongly encourage customers to use Writer's Inc. and have their child write the papers in the MLA format. An occasional paper in APA format (also detailed in Writer's Inc) would be a good idea, but the focus should be MLA.
The research paper is required for all students using Core 3 and above. The Research Paper Packet is included in Language Arts 3+4-6 and Core 7-530 Instructor's Guides. If you are using the Core Instructor's Guide only (without a Language Arts guide) for Core 3-6, you will need to purchase RL61. LA3 does contain an abbreviated research project in weeks 12-14. Rather than including the research project packet, we simplified all of the instruction and included it in the weekly notes, so that LA3 would provide an easy introduction to doing a research project.(updated 7.5.07)
