Creating your own Canadian History program using SL [updated 12.2.06]
While there is always the potential for Sonlight to create an exclusively Canadian History program, at this time there are no immediate plans to do so. However, you will find a study on Canada included in our Intro to American History, part 2, year 4 core program.
One mom shared with me that she adapted the Core 3+4 Condensed into a two-year American/Canadian history program by fitting in Canadian books throughout the program. Using Core 3 followed by Core 4 was too much American History, but using the Condensed program gave her more time to fit in Canadian history. I thought that was a good idea that we can suggest to Canadians who ask.
