Once we sell our final stock of the Piano Wizard keyboard (we only have one left), we will no longer be selling this product. We WILL continue to sell the Piano Wizard software, just not the keyboard.

Piano Wizard Tech Issue (11.2.10)

Step #5 in "Installing Your Piano Wizard Game" is no longer applicable. Originally, you had the option of installing keyboard drivers if needed on step 5, and you could use the CD provided with the MIDI keyboard. The CD with the MIDI keyboard is no longer included. Since the step is no longer necessary, and you can install your keyboard without the drivers now, customers may skip this step. We will add a note to our current stock.

Will Piano Wizard word with Windows 7?
Windows 7 claims to be backward compatible, but some folks are having issues using PW with Windows 7. PW Tech Support has been able to resolve these thus far, so please direct them to their tech support. (12.21.09)

  • Advisor - if you have a product question on Piano Wizard for which we do not have the answer (after reading Chris Salter's posts on the forums, linked above):

Items MU03, MU04, MU05, MU06, MU07, MU08, MU09, MU10, MU11, MU12 The books state on the back that the books are appropriate for ages 7 to 11.

Piano for Life (item MU26)

The Piano for Life three volume sequel develops all of the concepts in Piano for Quitters (item MU25) to a more advanced level with all new material. (The strategy and approach used in Piano for Quitters is quickly reviewed for those who have not seen it. It can be used without using Piano for Quitters first!) Both programs are in DVD format.

The Piano for Life program does include a small, 14-page booklet inserted in the DVD case. If this was not included with your program, please accept our apology. The entire text of the booklet (all 21 lessons) can be viewed here: http://www.pianoforlife.com/booklet_01.html.

While Piano for Life can be utilized independently, Piano for Quitters is ideal as the foundational program with Piano for Life as the sequel. If you decide to order Piano for Quitters, I would recommend using this program first and then following with Piano for Life. The booklet included with Piano for Quitters is similar to the booklet for Piano for Life. Both are small reference books, but the main instruction is in the DVDs themselves.

Classical Kids Collection Vol 1 and 2 (item JG06, JG07)

The publisher now offers an instructional booklet of some nature to go with this set of CDs. We do not currently offer it and don't anticipate offering it in the near future, but it is on the list for future review and consideration. The CD inserts contain a "wee" bit of info - basically just some informational background. Some contain the lyrics, but not all.

Classical Music booklet

The booklet for the classical music should be in the jewel case which holds the CD's.

First Book of the Recorder - replaced with Nine Note Recorder Method (item MU16)

is an Usborne book and is non-consumable.
