2009 Core P4/5 Packages:
- Newcomer P4/5 (PC00)

- Core P4/5 package with Readers K (PC01) - removes P 4/5 LA and adds K LA and K readers
Binder Info: PC00 comes with 1" binder and no tabs. PC01 comes with 3" D-ring binder with 40 index tabs (9.3.09)

- A Family Treasury of Little Golden Books - removed for 2009 (out of print)
- Uncle Wiggly's Story Book - new title 2009
- The Classic Tales of Brer Rabbit - new title 2009
- The Lion Storyteller Bedtime Book - new edition. Stories all remain the same, but page numbers have changed. Updated schedule with new page numbers on Curriculum Updates page. (7.16.09)
- The Lion Storyteller Bedtime Book (PA16) - no longer in stock. Has been replaced with Lion Storyteller hardback (PA03). (2.3.10)
Newcomer P4/5 and Core P4/5 the same?
Yes, these two packages are one and the same (PC00). Please apologize to customers if there is any confusion. We are planning to make some adjustments to this next year (i.e. we are investigating ways to expand this package to make it a "true" Newcomer product). An explanatory note will be added to the Newcomer P4/5 product page on the web. (6.24.09)
Core B - binder/tabs
There is a 1 inch binder included with the core purchase. There are NO tabs included with Core P4/5. This core IG has one page per week, minimal sheets, no study guides, etc. If the customer purchased a core and they want the tabs they can order at their Club cost of 10% off and free shipping. Developing the Early Learner Update - The Record Sheet on the back cover of books 2-4 does not match the skills worked on in the book. There are other discrepancies including an extra row titled "Comprehension/Categories" that does not match any of the book content. Since we do not publish this book, we are unable to offer any corrections. (8.2.07)

Why include this volume?
Why do we provide literature "treasuries" in Core B instead of individual books?
There is financial value to using a treasury. We tend, for the most part, to stay away from hardback books because they cost more, and they weigh more, thus costing more to ship (especially creating a hardship for our international customers). Also, in some cases, stories included in a treasury are no longer available as a single volume as they are out of print.
