NEW PROSPECT LIST REPORT (8.1.07) The New Prospect List Report.pdf will now show you if the recorded has been ADDED, UPDATED or NOT UPDATED. It will also show if the address was incorrect, all the errors that I have been emailing out to those who have them. There is one final thing I have asked to be added to the report and that is the account open date.

Some tips to help you understand this report ...

The first line of information is how the record was already in Assist. If the record was updated, then the information below is what was updated ...
Before - 990 44R [email protected]
After - 118 BBC [email protected]

This shows you that your SCC code is now on the account. If the record was not updated, it was because one of the rules of recoding that account came into effect.

This report will also show you every account that has been updated and though you may not see any changed on this report, it could be that the phone number or part of the address was updated.

The system will add them even if their address is incorrect so some of your reports will show the customer with two lines. One saying they have been added and the other letting you know if there was something wrong with their information.

If the report indicates "Street name not found" or "Street not Found in city" or "Address not found on Street", it is best to do some further research to verify the information that you submitted. A correction is most likely needed to ensure that this record matches with the customer's order. The report will say "Record has been updated" but that means that the incorrect information has been entered into the system.

If you find errors on your prospect list report, please send me an email with the changes which need to be made. Please list the customer number and the change that needs to be made. For example:
