2014 Core 100 IG Errors:

  • History/Bible 120 - Student Guide Maps - Maps for A History of US, Book 3, Map 2 and A History of US, Book 10, Map 1 incorrectly include the map points in the Student Guide. Updated maps are available for download on the Curriculum Updates page. (7.16.14)
  • History/Bible 120 - Week 1 - incorrect map locations for Before Columbus. Updated map points available on Curriculum Updates page. (6.27.14)
  • Vocabulary - How to Use This Guide in Section Four of the Student Guide states that vocabulary will be listed in bold, italic type without the definition. Definitions are provided in the Parent Guide. Regrettably, this was not accomplished in the Core 100 Student Guide. The vocabulary words still retain the definitions. (7.29.13)

Book defects, backorders, edition changes, etc.

  • The Panama Canal has been discontinued because of a significant increase in price from the supplier. We have replaced it with What is the Panama Canal? Updated notes for this new book will be found on the Curriculum Updates page. (8.8.14)
  • Sequoyah and the Cherokee Alphabet removed

Core 100 Map errors corrected (5.2.13)

Some of the map answer keys are inaccurate. Correction and pdf have been added to Curriculum Updates page.

  • For 2012 customers - since we expect that most have finished with Core 100, they can print off the correct answer keys from the web page.
  • For 2013 customers - we will mail the updated maps to them.

where is it, when was it added, why were books removed from the 2006 edition of core 100? There is great detail in Core 100 that will allow a student with no literary analysis background to come into Core 100 without having completed LA 7. Each piece of literature has setting, characters, point of view, conflict, and theme identified in the study guide.
