Horizons Math Manipulatives Schedules
- NOTE: There are schedules ONLY for Horizons Math K Manipulatives Kit and Horizons Math 1-3 Manipulatives Kit. (9.14.10)
- Schedules are found in each kit, but can be ordered separately if the customer purchased the kits prior to our adding the schedule (08.10.10)
Horizons Manipulative Kit Details
- Horizons K Manipulative kit does not include Base 10 Rods or Base 100 blocks. To save customers money, we included only a set of 100 cm cubes. Customers can create their own Base 10 Rods by putting together 10 of the cm cubes. (10.24.12)
- Horizons K Manipulative Filler kit does *not* come in the plastic tub. It comes in a cardboard box with the Sonlight logo on it. (3.2.10)

- Email includes links to detailed schedule sheets for use with Horizons Math 1, 2, and 3 - downloadable at no charge

- The Schedule/instruction Packet was inadvertently left out of KM35. We will be adding it to the kit and contacting those customers who ordered the kit since 4/1 so we can send it to them. (4.19.08)

Horizons Math Flash Cards
- The Horizons Math 1-3 Manipulatives Kit includes a set of addition flash cards. Horizons Math 1 - Lesson 12 instructs parents to Drill the addition facts 1-9 with flash cards for five minutes with the answers showing. Lesson 22 then instructs parents to Drill the addition facts 1-9 with flash cards without the answers showing from now on. This is to be done with the same set of flash cards. Parents can simply turn the cards over to show the answer as each addition fact is drilled. (7.1.09)
- 8.26.08 - Ordinal number flash cards in RM35 are for first through tenth. If customers feel their students need flash cards for higher ordinal numbers, they can create them using the index cards in the kit ... simply follow the pattern used for the ordinal number flash cards we provide.
- Sonlight created flashcards [i.e. Ordinal Number flash cards (Sonlight created), Number flash cards (Sonlight created), Roman Numeral flash cards (Sonlight created)] are printed on 8 1/2 x 11 card stock, the customer then cuts them out. (10.8.09)
