I have a Sonlight Curriculum Supplement to give you!

Our Product Development Team has just made updates to the Horizons Math "Manipulatives" Kit (item# RM35) which you have already purchased from us. For 2008 the kit now includes new, detailed schedule sheets. You can download the new pages—no charge—at the links below:

For lessons throughout the Horizons Math programs 1, 2 and 3 (your kit RM35 is a companion to all three), you can see exactly what items you'll need from your manipulatives kit, plus what other common household items you'll want to gather (such as crayons, money, yardstick, and so on). Also, tips and suggestions on many pages will help you get more from your Horizons materials. The three documents (at the links above) together comprise your complete 22-page schedule/instructions set.

This Curriculum Supplement is the direct result of excellent feedback from many Sonlight customers. Maybe you even helped with suggestions of your own! I realize how much easier this new schedule can make teaching with your existing manipulatives kit, and so I'm happy to make the pages available to you. I hope you'll find them helpful for as long as you and your children continue to use the kit.

Once you download the supplement files to your computer, you can print pages any time or read them on screen.


You need nothing more to continue teaching Horizons Math 1-3 programs with the kit you already own. If you like, however, you can now also "upgrade" your kit RM35 to the new-for-2008 version (which includes several new items we've created exclusively for Sonlight customers). The Sonlight teams realized that some families may want this option, so here's what we created:

Manipulatives Kit 1-3 Upgrade (optional), item# RM45............ $12.50

Includes the same schedule pages as the supplement above (printed and
hole-punched), plus three brand new custom heavy-stock flash card sets:
whole numbers, ordinal numbers, and roman numerals.

Note: this "Upgrade" Kit RM45 ONLY includes the new items you will NOT find elsewhere (the new kit RM35 also includes several resources you may already have, or can easily get locally). Also, RM45 is "hidden" on our website, to avoid confusion for those who need RM35. You will only be able to browse or shop this product using the links here in this email.
