Using the Home Page Drop Down Menus to Locate Product Info

One of the nice things about this type of drop-down menu, is that it allows customers to drill deeper into our site without ever leaving the homepage. Thus, they're not left wandering around aimlessly or attempting to use the search function but not having the correct keywords.

The five main categories are found in the header on each page. Those categories have drop-down menus that are accessed by hovering your mouse over the title. No clicking is involved.

Homeschool Curriculum drops down a menu of each main level of curriculum materials. These are clickable links which take you directly to the main web page for each level. The very last item on this drop-down is a link to Placement Tests. You can click on Placement Tests and be taken to the main placement testing page, or you can hover over that title, and a second drop-down will allow you to drill down to specific categories of placement tests.

Subjects drops down a menu of sub-headers which are clickable (to take you to a main page about that topic), but which also have secondary drop-down menus to allow you to drill down to specific levels in each category. This category includes IG Samples, which is accessed by hovering over the Instructor's Guide sub-header, and then scrolling to the very bottom of the next drop-down that appears. This category also includes a Product Samples option.

My Account and About Sonlight are pretty self-explanatory.

Help & Support includes an FAQ link as well as a link to the Curriculum Updates page.
