How do you fit this into a school day/how do you schedule this product: I schedule typing 2-3 days per week, for 15-30 minutes at a time.

How much parental involvement? How much student time required at each session? Parents can be minimally involved; I get my student started, tell him which lesson(s) to do, encourage occasionally, and check his progress at the end. Student time varies depending on the skill and interest of the student, but one lesson takes only about 5 minutes. So they can do a few lessons, then a game, in 15-30 minutes.

Name two or three things you feel it is important for customers to know about this product before they purchase? In the lessons, the student types over the letters and symbols already on the page, changing their color as he goes along. He can instantly tell if he has made a mistake, because the letters turn red. The “Virtual Adventure” typing games are fun and engaging, and are suitable for both children and adults. They include Tomb Typer (Egypt), Erik the Viking, Gone Fishing, The Wild West, and Sea Adventure. The student types words to win a race, move through a maze, catch fish, shoot targets, or keep away from the villain. Magazine articles are also available for copying, including children’s classic tales, medical briefs, and other topics.

Updated Info (10.18.07) - Results from various tests can be printed out so the parent has a hard-copy of the student's performance.
