If you have a blog or a website of your own you can build links (links to certain pages) that will include a special cookie with your SCC code in it. The code will assist you in "capturing" the customer during registration.

Here's how it works:

Let's say Judy (SCC code 182) wants to "tweet" something about Sonlight Newcomer 1. We only need to know two things:

  1. The SCC code (182)
  2. The file name of the page (1F1.html)

Let's build the link!

http://www.sonlight.com/php/jump.php?scc=182&url=/1F1.html

You can make the URL shorter with a URL shortening service. I recommend tinyurl.com. It's been around for a long time, and they offer an alias (so you can make a legible URL instead of the default random character URL).

These links will generate a 7-day cookie, the same as your sonlight.com personal pages.

That's it!
