Event Application Helps and Guidelines
The Event Application is designed to give us a snapshot, including projected costs, of the event you’re applying for. Please complete the worksheet, submit Assistant Profile(s)and include any additional explanations or justifications when you submit your Event Application.
Please complete as much information as possible.
Contact Information Please provide whatever contact information you have*. If you have an exhibitor’s packet, please forward it with your Application.

- Expected Attendance - use the figure published by organizer
- Booth Fees - enter fee for one booth*
- # Booths - indicate how many booths you are requesting†
- # Assistants - Indicate the number of Assistants you will use
- # Days - Indicate the duration (number of days) of the event
- Expenses - Indicate the amount of qualified expenses††
- Draw - Indicate the amount of Draw you wish to receive for this event
- Wkshp Fee – enter fee for 1 workshop*
- Wkshp Exp – Indicate the total expenses you estimate you will incur in presenting the workshop. (If you plan to present multiple workshops, please indicate this and attach workshop title, 25 word description and outline).
Expense Disbursment Requested If no figure is entered, no expense compensation will be paid to you for this event. If you prefer to receive the expenses after the event, please indicate this next to the amount.
Assistant Information The profile should be submitted with the Application for the first event the Assistant will attend.
- If you don't have this information because the event is new or the invitation was sent directly to Sonlight, please simply indicate this on the Application. This way we’ll know you need more information and that you didn’t just forget or presume we had it also.
† If you are requesting more booths than Plan allows and/or you feel Sonlight should pay for add-ons for a particular event, please indicate this and attach the request and justification to your application. Be sure to indicate whether you want to attend the event at Plan or only if approved according to your Application.
†† This refers to Expenses (formerly called per diem) as outlined in the SCC Event Agreement Provisions in Addendum Two on page 9 of the 2004 Agreement. The Provisions chart outlines the maximum expenses available for an event based upon its Plan.
