Change in Rosetta Stone Return and Exchange Policy (6.25.13)

Effective July 1, 2013, Rosetta Stone's return and exchange policy for all Rosetta Stone consumer products, including all Home School edition products, will be reduced to thirty days from date of purchase.

To Deactivate Rosetta Stone

  1. Open Rosetta Stone Version 3
  2. Click the Preferences button in the upper-right corner of the screen
  3. Click Add/Remove Language and then Deactivate Product.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to finalize the deactivation
  5. Make a note of the your deactivation code for your software
  6. Contact Rosetta Stone with your Activation ID and deactivation code

SL now has headsets in the warehouse to replace any damaged, no longer working headsets. As always, refer to CR for determination of eligibility.

Rosetta Stone returns (11.17.08)

In order to have a more streamlined process, Rosetta Stone has created a standard procedure for making all returns. Since Rosetta Stone Homeschool Version 3 requires that it is activated before use, they must now be sure that the program is deactivated before it is physically returned to them. If it is not deactivated, it is possible a customer is returning a product that they can still use on the computer(s) they activated it on. This return procedure will help them to ensure that the product is deactivated and returned properly, and it will also decrease the time it takes to get the return closed. Please follow the steps below to ensure our return is handled appropriately:

  • Have our customer contact Rosetta Stone at 800-280-8172 and press 3 for Customer Care.
  • The Customer Care Representative will walk our customer through the deactivation and inactivation procedure. Once complete, the customer care representative will provide our customer with their deactivation response code.
  • Customer would then need to return their product to us with the deactivation response code.
