2008 Markable Map Error (updated 7.31.08)

In the process of making our new 4-color map larger, we shrunk the margins and inadvertently sacrificed some islands. Missing are Hawaii, Aleutian Islands, Solomon Islands, and Fiji, as well as some tiny islands in the Pacific. Resolution:

  • We will continue to sell our Markable Map
  • We will include a note for all future orders going out the door explaining the error
  • We will contact customers who have purchased and inform them of the error.
  • We will offer a PDF of the islands with appropriate Lat/Long. Markable Map Fix pdf
  • We still have some of our B/W maps and will offer these to customers who request a better solution (on a case-by-base basis). Advisors - refer ticket up.

2008 Markable Map Update (1.25.08) (2.13.08)

The Markable Map will be revised to 4-color. It will still be a folding map as before.

2008 Timeline Updates (1.21.08)

  • All of our timeline figures dates have been reviewed and revised to align with Homeschool in the Woods
  • A new timeline chart will be added to each IG to provide a quick overview of the use of each timeline assignment/figure. It will be organized by book and page numbers within each book. This allows the chart to work for both 4- and 5-day customers.
  • timeline assignments will remain in the Study guides, but they have been checked for accuracy and to be certain they match the overview chart. (added 1.23.08)

Book of Time Description:

  • Our current version of the Book of Time has a laminated cover and has pockets in the back for holding timeline figures. 10.22.07
  • The 'heavy-gauge paper' is cardstock.

Grade 3 reader schedule/timeline figures

In the Grade 3 Reader schedule there are timeline suggestions that should have timeline figures, but the figures are included in the core 2 pack. (i.e. Riding the Pony Express). If a customer orders Core C or 1 with Grade 3 Readers, they will not have timeline figures for these. Suggest that they pencil in those timeline figures and when they order Core 2 the next year they can plug in the figures. If this is not satisfactory, refer to Customer Champion or CR for further assistance. (9.12.07)

Grade 2 reader schedule/timeline figures

In the Grade 2 Reader schedule there are 6 timeline figures (associated with the Beginner's Bible) that should have a timeline figure. These timeline figures are included in the Core 2 timeline pack. If a customer orders Core 1 with Grade 2 Readers, they will not have timeline figures for these 6. Suggest that they pencil in those six timeline figures and when they order Core 2 the next year they can plug in the figures. If this is not satisfactory, refer to Customer Champion or CR for further assistance. (6.28.07)

Markable Map Issues

9.6.07 - Our current version of the Markable Map is missing the entirety of the Columbia River. Some of it appears between Oregon & Washington, but then it disappears! We will fix for next batch.
