Dive is strongly discouraging clients from purchasing the 2nd edition Saxon books because of the improvements of the 3rd edition. In all the Saxon 3rd edition books they include lesson numbers next to each item number in the problem sets. This way, when a child misses a problem you can see exactly which lesson that problem was from. So, if the child is only missing 2 or 3 out of the 20 to 25 problems, you would normally think that is fine. But, if the 2 or 3 they missed are all from the same lesson, then you’d know they need to repeat that lesson.
