  • Sonlight is not happy with this turn of events.
  • Sonlight will be talking with our rep at Rosetta, though he is on vacation this week, to express our displeasure over how this was handled.
  • If a customer from an event (SCC) or on the phone (SCA) is unhappy, refer them to CR. We have plans in place and CR will do their best to satisfy the customer. Please do not share exactly what we are offering, though this information is provided to you on wiki. Allow CR to resolve the situation.

FOR THOSE CUSTOMERS WHO PURCHASED DURING THE MAY/JUNE SALE:

Here is what we have agreed will “wow” our customers: we will honor the new incentives for all customers who ask.

  1. CR will use a script to assure customers we offered the best deal we knew of at the time. We only learned of the new promotion from Rosetta at the last minute (late last week).
  2. Sonlight did stop sending out advertising emails as soon as we heard of the new, better sale.
  3. Any customer who bought a Rosetta Stone two-level combo product between 5/01/07—6/30/07 for $299, and calls to ask about the new promotion, will be given a free headset (Pavica has already secured plenty of extra units for just this purpose) plus a $20 Sonlight coupon (which will expire 6/30/08) to make up the difference in the price they paid and the new $279 price that goes into effect on 7/01/07.
  4. Any customer who bought a Rosetta Stone level one product between 5/01/07—6/30/07 for $199, and calls to ask about the new promotion, will be given a free headset plus a $20 coupon to make up the difference in the price they paid and the new $179 price that goes into effect on 7/01/07.
  5. Any customer who bought a Rosetta Stone level two product between 5/01/07—6/30/07 for $229, and calls to ask about the new promotion, will be given a free headset. There was no price reduction on the level two product during the promotional period.
