IG Icon Key 12.06
[pdf sample of IG Icon Key out-dated ... new one coming! (6.4.07)]

The key should be on the page facing the first week core schedule page, on the back of the Core page that says, "Section 2--Schedules and Notes." If you look at the page right in front of your week 1 tab it should be there.

Here is the key to the icons in case you don't have it:

  • [N]-this means there is a note in the "Notes" section immediately following the schedule page
  • clock figure-Bold face type with a clock symbol means that there is no reference to this timeline assignment in the study guide, but there is a figure in the time line figure packet for you to place on your time line.
  • > --arrowhead symbol indicates you will find a map assignment in the corresponding study guide.
  • []--this empty box symbol is used to check off any assignment as it is completed. The [] symbol is used not only for time line and map assignments, but also occasionally for other assignments in your schedule pages.
  • The Open book Symbol-means you will find a time line figure or suggestion in the corresponding study guide.
  • Bold type Name or event with a date: Please enter on your time line any names or events, together with the dates that we list, on your schedule page. We have placed the names or events in bold type to attract your attention to such assignments.
  • Notice that, if no clock face symbol appears with such a listing, you will find no study guide reference nor any time line figure.
