I thought it would be great to have to do in a geography co-op class we had. Well, it is a great puzzle, but it was not quite what I expected. It would never work for the clas unless much of it was done ahead of time and you were just working on certain sections. The outside does have pieces that interlock, as well as the ocean, but not all the inside pieces do. Italy is just the shape of Italy. It took just me several hours to put it together because even with a working knowledge of many places, the oceans have all the countries listed with some vital statistics in alphabetical order. That is helpful, but slow going. And when I put it away, I found it easiest to put it in about 4 bags. The outside "frame", the ocean, many of the countries and the teeny tiny pieces (that will get lost if you have it sitting out) like Italy and islands, etc. I think the box is what you want to display unless you want to permanently put it together. You don't want people handling the puzzle pieces. I suppose you could display the pieces in a similar grouping as I put them in the bags.-- Sandy Hotz
