Price Higher -- when will SL contact customer?

If you mail, email, or fax an order and the total cost is 10% or more than your indicated total, Sonlight will call to get approval on the additional cost.

Why do I owe more for my order than what I calculated?

I even called to get current pricing, yet when I sent in my order that day, still I was charged more…

We have had to adopt a policy on BOOK orders that is similar to the airlines. You know: “Prices are not firm until ticket is purchased.” In our case: “Prices are not firm until the order (accompanied by payment) is in our computer.” If you place an online order, you will see the actual total of your order!

As stated in our catalog “prices are subject to change without notice”.

We have no control over the prices we are charged by the publishers – and sadly, they refuse to give us warning. We have called, written, cajoled, offered payments… they WILL NOT guarantee a price unless and until we buy the books. It has happened that within 2 weeks from when the catalog was sent to the printer – even before it was mailed—we received close to 20 titles at a HIGHER price than we had placed them in our catalog. We have to pass those price increases on to you. Otherwise, we would go out of business. We do pass along price DECREASES as well!

You know, you can acquire a little more control over the price we charge you. We have established a policy of guaranteeing COMPLETE BASIC CURRICULUM prices.

If you mail, email, or fax an order and the total cost is 10% or more than your indicated total, Sonlight will call to get approval on the additional cost.

If you place your order online, the final total will be the actual cost, as the SCOPS system is tied to actual inventory.
