No Free International Shipping 5.14.07 The US Postal Service implemented price hikes on most of their services as of May 14, 2007. At the same time they discontinued their most economical service to foreign countries, Surface (Economy) M-Bag.
Surface M-Bag has long been our "standard" shipping method for our international customers. Sadly, without Surface M-Bag we can no longer offer free shipping on orders to countries outside of the United States, it's territories, and Canada.

Air Parcel Post is not a listed option online but if you will put in the comments box - just before you press the final "purchase" button - that you would like your order shipped via Air Parcel Post and give us permission to charge for the shipment, we will do so for you.
We are unable to list all the options we offer online and, for the most part, FedEx/UPS is cheaper than some of the other options (Air Parcel Post or Surface Parcel Post) for heavier packages. [Also found in cust srvc]
International Shipping Issues
- We warn customers that they are responsible for all customs fees.
- They should not order anything she feels might cause a problem.
- We mark all international shipments "Educational Materials, not for resale"
- We will not remove any specific items from science kits. We have reviewed that and found it unworkable.
- Our procedure is not to ship anything that has proven difficult. If a customer does order a kit that cannot be shipped they receive an explanation letter and a list of the science components in that kit so they can shop for it themselves.
