"I think Sonlight is too expensive"
We have priced Sonlight Curriculum as fairly as we know how. We know what it costs to acquire the materials, to develop the instructor’s guides, to ship our program to you, to give you the support you need, and to back up our words with action.
If you have found another company that will provide you with a curriculum that is as easy to use and that will please you totally, provide comparable support and an equivalent guarantee… all at a lower price, then you should honor them with your business!
But if their products and services are not comparable, you will have to decide which company or which company’s products will better meet your needs. If Sonlight Curriculum better suits your requirements, well…? Someone once said that if you want a thing badly enough, you’ll figure out a way to acquire it. There’s some truth to that statement. You’re charging to much. It’s too much. Your price is too high. It’s so expensive. Your curriculum is too expensive.
A lot of people are in the same boat. That’s why we offer you a degree of FREEDOM and FLEXIBILITY that I don’t believe you will find when dealing with any other complete curriculum provider.
We permit you to purchase whatever you want – from a single book to… well, the complete curriculum package. If you have noticed in our catalog, we even mark those books that you are likely to find in your local public library… and have indicated which books are from Christian publishers (so you could get hem from competitive Christian book distributors) and which books are published by Sonlight ( in other words, if you want them, you’ll HAVE to purchase them from us).
We really DO want you to buy only what YOU believe you need or want.
I think I should also point out that we have priced our materials in such a way that we think we will be fairly remunerated only for the work we do in your behalf – whether we provide you a complete grade level package, a single copy of our instructor’s guide, or a small collection of ten or fifteen books you can’t find in your local library.
