The two companies do share some of the same intellectual property, but while BookShark’s programs are similar in content, they contain no religious references or titles. BookShark’s parent company, InquisiCorp, provided BookShark the right to utilize Sonlight’s intellectual property to develop a secular, 4-day homeschool curriculum, suitable for state sponsored charter schools.
