I can understand your desire for an answer key for the Bible Study Sampler. Actually, we deliberately don't offer an answer key for this book. As John Holzmann (co-author of the book) mentions in the Core 120 Parent Guide: "I think Sarita and I wanted, through this book, to demonstrate that, even if certain basic sets of questions were not always perfectly compatible with a specific passage, one can profitably read the Bible with a few very basic questions in mind. I think we wanted to help students establish that kind of habit of thought: 'How can I suck the marrow out of this text?'--The questions we provide (we hope) may serve as a useful set of tools toward that end." He goes on to explain how sometimes the answer might be "I don't know" or "I couldn't find it" which are acceptable answers as long as the student has put in some thought and tried to search out what a particular passage is saying. The idea is for the student to develop independent Bible study skills that can be carried forward into personal Bible reading.
