2007 CATALOG ERRORS
As catalog errors/issues are identified they will be loaded here by page number (if you have to create a separate page because the error requires more than a line or two description, do not have more than one per page, include 2007 in page title...example... main/2007catalog p 47).
Page 25 - Middle column … second to last paragraph … You’ll find handwriting instruction materials included through 6th grade … We do not include handwriting instruction materials in our LA.
Page 27 - Winston Grammar is shown as scheduled on the LA4 IG sample. It will no longer be scheduled.
Page 29 - LAK Student Activity Sheets (KTL1) are missing. This will be corrected on the web. The additional ruled paper can be purchased if customers desire, but it is not necessary. KTL1 will have ruled pages as part of the activity sheets. One side will be 2 line, one side will be 3 line to be similar to KL174 and KL184.
Page 30 - Needs 'recommended resource box' under grade 1 readers to indicate KL02 (Language & Thinking) is recommended/optional for those using Core C.
Page 32 - Wordly Wise B should be item number 2L05; not 2L5.
Page 40 -
- In order to complete your curriculum, you will need to add KLA to Core B with K readers (for grade K)
- A Family Treasury of Little Golden Books is incorrectly identified as item PA03, it should be PA05. An fyi, PA16 is the correct number for Lion Storyteller Bedtime Book as it is the paperback version. In the 2006 catalog we listed it as PA03, which is a hardback. [Not for public release – we are almost out of stock on the hardback. Once the new catalog releases on 3/30, we will ‘bless’ customers who order PA16 with the hardback until stock is depleted.]
Page 45 - Middle column, second title. Book title is Twenty and Ten but description and item number are for The Wizard of Oz.
Page 46 - Under Recommended Resources, KL02 is recommended for use with Core C w/ grade 1 readers.
Page 48 - Under the Optional Bible header … children will be challenged to think through basic Christian doctrines with Kenneth Taylor’s Leading Little Ones to God. Kenneth Taylor didn’t write the book … Marian Schoolland did.
Page 52 - Description refers to Time Traveler's Omnibus, this item is not used in core 1+2
Page 55 JG06, Classical Kids Collection is $59.99 instead of $59.98. The product is correctly priced on page 142. - SL will honor lower price all year.

Page 66 - Wordly Wise 3000 Book 1 is listed as an optional LA workbook for LA3. This is an error. It is correctly listed on page 76 as an optional LA workbook for LA4. [If customer purchased in error due to catalog error, refer ticket to Facilitator for referral to Champion. 6.11.07]
Page67 - EA301, Looking at Pictures is no longer in our product line; replaced with EA302, Usborne: The Children's Book of Art, An Introduction to Famous Paintings
Page 68 - The header states Recommended Age at Start: 9-12. The text underneath the header states You may use this program, without modification, to teach one or more children from 9 to 11 years old …
Page 70 - Core 3+4 IG incorrectly labeled as new
Page 71 - Under Electives Section...in the parenthesis, it should say (see chart on page 68) instead of page 70.
Page 77 - American Adventures is a required resource for the 5 day package only.
Page 79 - middle column, under Science - Usborne Young Scientist Human Body - book replaced with Internet linked version
Page 82 - Sadako (5R07) corrected to show it is a package containing: 5R57 Sadako, 5R58 Fun with Easy Origami
Page 83 - Sing the Word CD title should be All Nations Shall Worship.
Page 91 - Level 7 Core Packages chart - should read (World History Part 2) instead of part 1.
Pages 92-93 - Stowaway should be listed as a Reader and A Heart Strangely Warmed should be a Read-Aloud.

- 6TL will be available June 1; 6TL is usable for EITHER Core 6 OR Alt Core 6
- Foreign Language - Students in SIXTH grade and higher (NOT seventh grade)-- also changed on core 7 on up pages
Page 102 - Sister Wendy’s Story of Painting is not scheduled in Cores 100 and 200. It is suggested for both Cores as it is a rather hefty volume.

Page 131 - 2nd column, 3rd paragraph - indicates syllabi found on our website; there is no syllabi available.
Page 134 - The description for RFH states the program uses daily practice focused on verses from Scripture. However, the K book has no scripture in it. Instead each letter is based on God’s creation, mostly using animals.
Page 135 - Under OPTIONAL SUPPLIES in the lower-right corner of the page, 2L184 is listed has having 50 Sheets. This needs to say 40 sheets. [All the other lined paper in that product line have 50 sheets.]

- WG Advanced says - ‘do not use unless already gone through wg basic or SL LA 6’ -- that needs changed to WG basic or Grammar Ace; From what I’ve seen so far there will not be the detail in the LA IG’s, even through 6, to cover all in WG Basic.
- WG Basic says it is ‘for grade 4 and 3+4’ --- publisher recommends beginning at 9 to 11 years of age, up through 7th grade

Graded CoreUltra & CorePlus packages explained:
Example: how does CoreUltra3 become a true Grade 5 package?
CoreUltra3 w/5 includes H5M (5th grade math), 5L172 (5th grade handwriting) and 5E (grade 5 Electives).
The reasoning behind this? Look at the grade recommendation for Core 3 at the top of page 61. Grades 3-6. In order to truly create an appropriate package for a 5th grader, for example, these items were added.
This is true for most levels K-4.

Who Gets the 2007 Catalog?
The catalog will be sent to:
- customers who have ordered since 1/1/05
- customers who have been added to our customer database since 1/1/06**
- This would include folks who have been added to our database but didn't place an order (i.e. registered to use SONIA, filled out a prospect card at a convention).
- individuals who have requested a catalog since 1/1/07
Anyone who requested a catalog from our web site since 2/22/07 will receive one from our first in-house mailing which will send on or about April 1st.
