Subject:                          TEST: Summer Readers are back!

Dear Customer,

How's your summer going? My kids are happy to be free! My wife and I are also looking forward to some R&R. Good times ahead! If you're still looking for fun family-oriented things to do in the next couple of months, check out Sonlight Summer Explorations, where you'll find a variety of enriching, low-cost and just plain fun experiences for the kids.

Here are a few Sonlight favorites I'd like to highlight:

Summer Readers are perfect companions – on the boat or in the backyard fort …

We introduced Summer Readers just last year and people loved them! Can't-put-it-down stories for readers of every age – from General Butterfingers (Elementary Boys' Package) to Anne of Green Gables (Elementary Girls' Package) to Hatchet (Middle School Boys' Package) to Ella Enchanted (Middle School Girls' Package 1) to The Mysterious Benedict Society (High School Boys' Package) to The Tattooed Potato and Other Clues (High School Girls' Package).

If you missed the 2012 packages, they're back (see above). The 2013 packages will be available very soon. (Pre-order, if you'd like.)

Speak up and speak well

Did you know that public speaking often tops the list of people's greatest fears – ahead of poisonous snakes, financial ruin and even death? In Secrets of Great Communicators, Dr. Jeff Myers explains and demonstrates simple powerful strategies that develop confidence and skills to reach any audience. Introduce your children (great for adults, too) to this six-step DVD coaching system that will help them become fearless – and successful – communicators!

So many experiments, so little time

You know how you didn't have time to do all of those Science experiments that looked so intriguing during the regular school year? We've put together a mini program of exciting hands-on activities from our full courses to bring you Explorations in Science A (biology, botany and physics), B (animals, astronomy and physics) and C (geology, meteorology and mechanical technology) that are guaranteed to wow your summertime scientists! (If you don't already have it, don't forget the Non-Consumable Science Supplies Kit, designed for use with all Sonlight Science levels.)

More cool ideas your kids will find really HOT!

Or maybe HOT ideas your kids will find very cool? Either way, there's a lot more fun to be had! So check it out, while the summer is still young:

Art appreciation, Art skills, Bible, Computers, Computer programming, Geography, Math, Music appreciation, Music skills, Physical education, Reading, Science and other cool topics.

Whichever learning-rich Sonlight Summer Explorations destination you decide to visit, I trust that summer will be a time of refreshment for your family.

Enjoy,
