	Send us your photos for Sonlight’s Catalog Photo Contest 2007!
			The Sonlight Photo Contest is in full swing, but you still have time (‘til Dec. 15!) to submit your family’s photo and gain the chance to star in Sonlight’s catalog and promotions. On top of that, you could win a major Sonlight gift certificate or even be our new cover family. Coming soon! For the first time this year, you also get a chance to vote on the winning Cover Photo!
	As the photos come in, I enjoy the chance to see great shots of Sonlighters learning together and discovering new things. We want photos that tell what Sonlight is all about— in lots of different categories— from high-schoolers studying literature, to dads teaching kids, to photos of adventures abroad. We need photos in lots of different categories, so go to www.sonlight.com/photos to get the scoop on the contest rules, find out what size photo we can accept, and learn the secrets to improve your chances of winning. Don’t forget to check back to the site after Dec. 15 to vote on your favorite cover family! You can submit your digital photo online at the bottom of www.sonlight.com/photos. Enter Photos before Dec. 15! Please visit www.sonlight.com/photos to download your photos before Dec. 15. Be sure to check the site for more details and ensure your photo has the best chance of being published. Sarita will pick the top three cover photos, and then it’s your turn. Whether or not you submit a photo, after Dec. 15 you’ll be able to return to the photo page and vote for the winning cover family! Here’s a short reminder of what we are looking for (to get all the details, go to www.sonlight.com/photos): Capture the perfect image—in pictures and words. Your photo caption may be the most important part of your photo! You may send an incredible shot, but we can only use it if you provide interesting, descriptive information along with it. A winning photo… Tells a story and has great caption information Features good lighting, focus, and easy-to-see people Preferably at least 100K bytes(300k most useful). Cover photos should be portrait -oriented, high resolution images with enough data to cover the entire front page of the catalog at 300 dpi—at 100% size, minimum. Find out more details at www.sonlight.com/photos Please note: You may only see a third of your picture when you download it on our site, due to the high resolution we need. Don’t be alarmed.
