Dear Sonlight,
Welcome to 2010! I hope you had fun
ringing in the new decade. We're pretty excited around the Sonlight
office for what this year has in store. And that's not just because
"twenty-ten" rolls off the tongue so well.
This year is also a full-out birthday
celebration for the Sonlight community. Can you believe it? Families
around the world have been homeschooling with Sonlight for 20 years now.
That's pretty stunning.
I hope you'll join us in celebrating
this year. After all, you are the heartbeat of the Sonlight community.

Set your kid's creativity loose and design a 2010 t-shirt for Sonlight

If you're afraid your kids' art will get buried
in a flood of submissions, no need to worry (that flood hasn't come
yet). So have a fun art time with your children and show us what you've
got. For rules and inspiration, click

2010 Live Virtual
Meetup
Don't miss this unique opportunity to get to know Sonlight and other
Sonlighters! No travel costs, no need to find a babysitter. You can
connect from your home computer and get a tour of the Sonlight office,
meet John and Sarita (Sonlight's founders and owners) and interact with
other homeschool families.

2010 Picnic
If the virtual meetup is the main event, a fun little picnic is its
sidekick. We're hosting a picnic for Sonlight families on Saturday,
June 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you'll be around Littleton, Colorado
(in the Metro Denver area), we'd love to have you join us.

Sonlight Office
Tours
Stop by any Thursday in June from 1-3 p.m. for a tour of the Sonlight
office and warehouse. Meet some of the people who create your curriculum,
see where we assemble and ship your materials, wave to the Customer
Service team, and catch a glimpse of the Rocky Mountains while you're at
it!
